A time of letting go…
How much of ourselves are we giving away, burying or dimming for the sake of not making others uncomfortable?
How often do we do what’s easy, what’s comfortable, what’s known… all at the determent of our full and most authentic selves...
We get lost in the day to day, in the ease and routine. Routines that may be ones we chose, or maybe ways that we just continued to adapt from others because of comfort, ease, safety, etc…
And in this day to day, there’s a part of you that craves something different, something deeper… Maybe that part is screaming within, becuase they are craving to be acknowledged and felt.
This part of you, you access when you allow yourself to be led by something bigger than you, a passion, a curiosity, a fire within.
The part that wants to meet a challenge head on and learn something new. That finds a spark, when you realize that you don’t know. And in that not knowing, is a choice, a choice to stay in the comfort or to get uncomfortable in the unknown.
Within this space, this part of you, you tap into your confidence, expansion and most genuine version of you…. but sometimes, oftentimes, it can be difficult to find and to step into. And in my own experience with this, it requires sacrifice.
Sacrifice of what is easy, comfortable and the need to be accepted or understood.
Sacrifice of spaces, relationships and routines that no longer feel needed or you’ve outgrown.
So, it’s worth asking yourself; are you willing to get uncomfortable? To sacrifice? What are you willing to sacrifice, so that you can expand and move into more of what makes you, you and feel more aligned with your full self.
Call upon your bravery and courage!
On your willingness to let go of what is no longer for you, so you can create and clear space for what IS. For the further expansion of those parts that are aching for more room to grow.
As we make our decent into the darker times of the year, ask yourself:
What is that ache within asking of you?
